A UN tech conference goes virtual.
In 2021, United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Trinidad and Tobago hosted their second virtual forum on big data and technology in the Caribbean. With international keynote speakers from across the world of tech, the forum attracts attendants from across the Latin American region.
Due to travel restrictions, the first conference was held remotely. But there was hope   were held remotely, so there was a need to imbue a sense of excitement the second time around. To keep things approachable, the design goal was to visualise data through a familiar lens – inspired by retro 90s software materials. This visual identity was rolled out across social media, web, press, e-invites, and event bumpers.
